The Universidad de GuadalajaraIt is an institution that inherits an educational tradition spanning more than two hundred years. Currently, the University operates as a network model comprised of 19 University Centers and a High School Education System with 177 campuses distributed throughout Jalisco.

Our institution trains high-level human resources in various scientific disciplines; it currently serves more than 344 students – 155 at the higher education level and 188 at the upper secondary level.

The quality of its educational programs is recognized by national and international organizations. Furthermore, the University has implemented institutional policies focused on promoting innovation and entrepreneurship within its university community.

Through its departments, centers and research institutes, the University generates knowledge that, in addition to updating academic content and promoting technology transfer, contributes to the economic development and social well-being of the regions of Jalisco.

Also, through its programs for the creation, appreciation and dissemination of art and culture, the University actively participates in cultural life and increases the artistic wealth of western Mexico.

In terms of internationalization, the University maintains cooperative and collaborative ties with higher education institutions on all five continents.

As of today, the Universidad de Guadalajara It is an institution committed to academic excellence, social solidarity and humanist thinking, aspects that contribute to the sustainable development of Jalisco and Mexico, through education, innovation, science and technology.
