Admission requirements:
Those interested in joining this program must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in education, language teaching, applied linguistics, or related fields. In accordance with the General Postgraduate Regulations of la Universidad de GuadalajaraYou must have a bachelor's degree and have completed said studies with a minimum average of 80.
- Have a minimum of two years of practical experience in teaching, research or administration of foreign languages, and be currently working in English teaching.
- If the academic degree is not related to these areas, a minimum of three years of experience in language teaching will be required, as well as authorization from the Academic Board of the program.
- To be a teacher, researcher, or administrator in service, or to have access to a foreign language program, so that research projects can be carried out in the classroom.
- Proof of English language proficiency is required, with a score of 550 or higher on a current TOEFL certificate (this includes foreign applicants). Equivalencies submitted based on this document will be accepted or rejected at the discretion of the Academic Board.
- Take and pass successfully completed the preparatory course. The course lasts 6 weeks of distance learning with assigned tutors.
- Hold an interview with the Academic Board of the program.
